Prof. Dr. Özgür Pilancı lead plastic surgeon and head of the Vivid Clinic Surgical Board

Prof. Dr. Özgür Pilancı graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2000 and completed his specialization in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2006. His specialist training covered aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, maxillofacial surgery, microsurgery, hand surgery and burn surgery.

After his compulsory military service at Kasımpaşa Naval Hospital, he worked at Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital and later at Bağcılar Hospital, where he completed more than 1,000 surgical procedures across public and private hospitals between 2006 and 2015, combining complex reconstructive cases with high-volume aesthetic surgery. He broadened his technique abroad: microsurgery at the University of Zurich, endoscopic facial procedures at the University of Alabama and, in 2016, a clinical fellowship at Andaraí Federal Hospital in Rio de Janeiro. He became an associate professor in 2015 and continues to mentor plastic surgery residents, and has published in peer-reviewed national and international journals.

At Vivid Clinic in Istanbul, Prof. Dr. Pilancı operates with his own specialized surgical team. His clinical focus is facial rejuvenation and rhinoplasty, breast and body contouring, post–weight-loss reconstruction and genital aesthetics, and he is known for the fox eye (canthoplasty) technique that lifts the outer corner of the eye. He describes surgery as both a scientific and a humanistic discipline: empathy, ethical care and artistry guide every plan, and he treats local and international patients in Turkish and English.
