Who is liposuction right for — and who should wait?
Liposuction often suits you if
- You are within roughly 10–15% of your goal weight, and your weight has been stable for several months
- You have localised fat that has not responded to diet and training
- Your skin has reasonable elasticity, so it can shrink onto the new shape
- You do not smoke, or can stop well before and after surgery
It may be better to wait if
- You are still losing weight or planning a pregnancy
- You have poorly controlled diabetes, heart or clotting problems
- You take blood-thinning medication that cannot be paused safely
Is your main concern loose, overhanging skin or separated tummy muscles? Liposuction alone will not fix it, and a tummy tuck may be the right plan.

How liposuction is done, step by step
Your plan may treat one area or several in one session. 360 liposuction treats the whole midsection: abdomen, flanks, lower back and sometimes the upper back. Working all the way round gives a smoother waist than treating the front alone.

Can 360 liposuction and a BBL be done on the same trip?

The combination takes longer in theatre and needs careful attention to safety standards for fat grafting. You also need to avoid sitting directly on your buttocks for several weeks.
