True titanium allergy is considered rare, and symptoms blamed on metal often have other causes, so we recommend an assessment by your doctor or an allergist if you have a documented metal sensitivity. If there is a genuine concern, or you simply prefer a metal-free mouth, zirconia implants are a reasonable alternative in suitable bone, and your dentist will explain the trade-offs.

All-on-4 relies on tilted posterior implants and angled abutments, and most ceramic dental implants are one-piece designs with a fixed angle, so they are rarely used for full-arch bridges on four implants. Zirconia implants are mainly used for single teeth and short bridges. For full-arch treatment, titanium implants remain the well-documented standard, and a zirconia bridge can still be placed on top.
