About Op. Dr. Zafer Gökhan Şermet
Op. Dr. Zafer Gökhan Şermet graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1987 and completed his general surgery specialization at Şişli Etfal Hospital in 1992. He went on to serve as a general surgery specialist at Şişli Etfal Hospital and Bayrampaşa State Hospital.
His practice spans the full range of general surgery: the diagnosis and surgical treatment of breast disease; emergency and trauma surgery; gastrointestinal surgery; umbilical and inguinal hernia repair; thyroid and parathyroid surgery; colorectal surgery for haemorrhoids, fissures, fistulas and tumours; and hepatopancreatobiliary surgery including laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
